I’ve always loved books that make you pause before you start reading—the ones you turn over in your hands, flick through, and admire just a little longer. So when it came to the Mac Tíre Mafia hardbacks, I wanted that feeling to continue after you opened the cover.
As an author and a formatter, I get a little obsessive about interiors. The typography, the chapter openings, the space around the words—it all contributes to how a book feels to read. I wanted these editions to reflect the atmosphere of the stories while giving the words room to breathe.
These are books I want you to love having on your shelf and love getting lost in. Because if I’m going to give my dangerous men the hardback treatment, I’m going to make them look good on the inside, too.
